The Taco Project in Stamford CT : New Addition to the Ever-growing list of Amazing Food Options!!!

The popular casual Mexican restaurant The Taco Project will open on April 12 at 1111 High Ridge Road in Stamford, offering tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, salads, desserts, and cocktails. This is the fifth Taco Project in Westchester County, with four others (Bronxville, Pleasantville, Tarrytown, and Yonkers.). This is the first restaurant of The Taco Project in Stamford CT.  This is a great new addition to the Stamford Food Scene.

The Taco Project Stamford CT will be located at North Stamford, which has a true suburban feel. The Stamford restaurant has 36 indoor seats and 14 outdoor seats that have been approved. It’s a “great hybrid” of dine-in and takeout.

Third-party apps are also available for delivery, and The Taco Project does a lot of catering. If you’re in a hurry on the road, you could stop in for lunch and grab a quick burrito, bowl, or tacos and be on your way. And, with candlelight, it’s a great nighttime spot. You could get a wine or sangria and hang out and dine.

The Taco Project Stamford CT’s menu features tacos with 10 different fillings. It has classic ground beef, free-range chicken, tempura-battered shrimp, skirt steak, fish tacos, and many more. Other standout dishes include chorizo with potatoes, Cajun salmon with wasabi slaw, and braised pork belly with pineapple glaze. Tacos ($8.95 to $10.95) are served with two soft corn tortillas per order, but guests at The Tacos Project Stamford CT can request hard-shell tacos or flour tortillas.

Burritos, burrito bowls, and quesadillas with steak, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables are available. Salads include smoked corn and field greens (with protein of choice) and honey habanero chicken on field greens with queso fresco and tortilla strips. Guacamole and salsa with housemade yellow corn tortilla chips, Mexican rice and beans, Mexican corn on the cob, and “sidewinder” fries in a craft beer batter with chipotle aioli, jalapeo ketchup, and blue cheese are among the appetizers and sides.



The prices range from $3.95 to $12.95. Taco Project Stamford CT serves churros, coconut tres leches cake, and flan for dessert, and a full bar serves margaritas in various flavors, Palomas, beer, wine, and sangria, according to Mesce. Aguas Frescas, Mexican Coke, and Jarritos sodas are among the non-alcoholic beverages available.
