Holiday Lights in New Haven Area you can explore this weekend
With the winter coming to Connecticut with all it’s flare it is easier for us to be cosy in our bedrooms and enjoy the snow from there. But at the same time the holiday is not complete till you watch some of the most exciting holiday lights in Connecticut. The holiday lights are there for a month or may be a bit more but the real joy of the holiday lights is to enjoy in the month of December. Some of the holiday lights in New Haven area are:
Shoreline Trolley Museum
Take a trolley ride with Santa at the Shoreline Trolley Museum. Cookies and hot chocolate included. The museum’s trolleys will be decked out for the holidays. Bring a camera. All children will receive a small gift from Santa. No reservations needed. Trolleys run continuously every 20-30 minutes.

Firelight Festival
Enjoy an evening of festive luminaria, lanterns, outdoor fires, popcorn, roasted marshmallows, hot chocolate, hot cider, Connecticut’s oldest house after dark, the Holidaze display, natural holiday ornaments crafts, and a reading of The Night Before Christmas. Included with admission. Free parking.

Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Park
Fantasy of Lights, displayed by Goodwill of Southern New England, has become a holiday custom for hundreds of families every year not only in New Have but also all the different parts of the state. This drive-through park has bright and colorful LED light displays that illuminates Lighthouse Point Park for the holiday season.
