The restaurant will build a fence around the property to provide screening for the neighbors. As per the city records there is no fence around the nearby Kentucky Fried Chicken because it does not fall within a residential area and hence to fence is required. Traffic impact assessment was done as part of the application process. The assessment stated that customers would be served for about 90 seconds at the drive-thru window. There will be a 14-vehicle queue on the property. If there is a long vehicle line and is more than 14, employees would go out and take paper orders.

Dairy Queen (DQ) formerly operated in Bristol where Poke’s Works Mexican Grill is located now. It was located at 838 Farmington Ave and this location was closed in the 1970s.

Dairy Queen (DQ) is a popular chain of soft serve ice cream and fast-food restaurants owned by International Dairy Queen, Inc.. This is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
