Traveler Restaurant : Unique Combination of Food and Books!!!

In these busy scheduled life some people still prefer reading books, newspaper etc while eating. So Traveler Restaurant in CT gives you the experience of both reading and eating together. This unique restaurant in Connecticut should be in your bucket list.

Located at Buckley Highway, this Traveler restaurant in Connecticut is about an hour’s drive from Boston that not only serves good food but also has heaps of books to choose from.

The Traveler Restaurant appears to be a very ordinary dining establishment from the outside. The interior, on the other hand, is far from plain, with books strewn about not only on the main floor, where the dining room is located, but also in the basement. In addition, when you eat a lunch at the Traveler, you will receive THREE complimentary novels. These are used books, and some of them aren’t the most interesting reads, but hey, they’re free.

The Traveler Restaurant serves the kind of food you’d expect from a roadside eatery: big, hearty breakfasts, as well as filling lunches and dinners. The chicken noodle soup comes close. The Traveler’s open-faced turkey sandwich and turkey dinner are both excellent, with plenty of white meat and, in the case of the turkey meal, all of the toppings.

The meaty and flavorful char-grilled burgers come with a selection of toppings, including bleu cheese dressing and horseradish sauce. The French fries are good, but the sweet potato fries are the real winner because they are crunchy and have little grease. Beer is also available at the Traveler Restaurant CT .

It’s pleasant to discover that there are still distinct restaurants along the country’s highways in these days of basic dining establishments and uninteresting fast-food corporations. One of these establishments is the Traveler Restaurant.

The location of this Traveler Book Restaurant in CT is 1257 Buckley Highway, Union, CT 06076.
