Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Point Park @ New Haven, CT
The Fantasy of Lights has become a holiday tradition for thousands of families from all over Connecticut and New England for years now. This bright and colorful light display illuminates Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven for the holiday season and many people from different parts of the state visit every year. The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum starts the Holiday Season with its traditional display of trees and decorations . This highlights the development of the holiday traditions during the Victorian era in USA. Visitors will get a chance to see its evolution from the 1850s to the 1930s.As small tabletop trees with edibles and handmade ornaments, turned into lavishly embellished trees that stood on the floor and almost reached the ceiling.
