Observe the transit of Mercury at the Glastonbury Planetarium on 11th Nov
On Monday, November 11, 2019 Mercury will transit the Sun for the first time since 2016. The transit or passage of a planet across the face of the Sun is a relatively rare occurrence. Weather permitting the Glastonbury Planetarium will have telescopes set up for safe viewing of the Sun and programs in the planetarium. The next transit will occur on November 13, 2032. This is a lifetime opportunity to observe this once in a lifetime opportunity.
