Moon Shadows at Glastonbury Planetarium
Apollo 12 was the second crewed mission to land on the moon. The mission started off on Nov. 14, 1969, a little less than four months after the success of Apollo 11. The target for Apollo 12 was a large basaltic plain on the moon’s surface called the Ocean of Storms.
This month is the 50th anniversary of this often over-looked mission to the Moon. Glatonbury Planetarium brings Moon Shadows back with additional narrative on the success of our second mission to the Moon.
