In February 2022, Jimmy John’s, a prominent fast-casual restaurant franchise, opened its first Connecticut location on Westport Avenue in Norwalk. Will Roth, the franchise owner, spoke from the restaurant Wednesday afternoon, saying he was pleased with how well the new restaurant’s first two days of operation went. Customers appear to be loving the sandwich shop’s focus on taste and convenience, according to Roth, who is one of three franchise owners at the Norwalk site. Although most sandwich chains do not provide a drive-thru, Roth highlighted that their menu’s focus on speed and execution allows consumers to have that option without limiting their ability to order exactly what they want.
