It is the month of July and the month of Lavenders!!! Have you been to this amazing lavender farm yet?

We are almost in the middle of July and this is the month of Lavenders. When it comes to thinking of an idea to visit a place in Connecticut related to Lavender Garden then there is one name that comes top of our mind and that’s the Lavender Pond Farm in Killingworth. Lavender Pond Farm is New England’s largest lavender farm. You can stroll its fields, visit the farm shoppe (May – December). The shop offers all-natural lavender products including lotions, soaps, essential oil, sachets, pillows and more.

Voted as the Top Attraction in CT by USA Today 10 Best and also named as the Top 5 New England Flower Farms by Yankee Magazine, this gem of a place should be in your places to visit list in July.

Rides on the LPF Express are now available after break for sometime due to COVI. However at this time it allows only “Just Family” rides for $25 per tour. Single tickets will not be sold taking into account the COVID restrictions and the social distancing norms that need to be followed. Basically if you rode to the farm together you can ride the train together. One family per tour and the train will be wiped down between each ride.
