Fourth of July fireworks in Connecticut!!! Add these dates to your calendar

There is no better way to spend a warm summer evening than with friends and family watching a fireworks display! We’ve created a list of where to find the most popular fireworks in CT this summer, from the coast to the countryside. Please check the weather forecast before attending any fireworks displays. This is the initial list and has most of the fireworks before the 4th of July long weekend.



Friday, June 24:

Here is the list of fireworks in Connecticut that will be held on June 24.

  • Midstate Site Development Street Stock Firecracker 30, plus fireworks, at Stafford Speedway
  • Wallingford – 350th Jubilee Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. at Mark T. Sheehan High School on Hope Hill Road.
  • 9:30 p.m. at Windsor Locks – Veteran’s Memorial Park on Volunteer Drive (In case of rain the date will be shifted to June 25)

Saturday, June 25:

List of fireworks in CT on June 25.

  • At 9 p.m., the fireworks in Connecticut will be held at Branford Point, Branford.
  • Manchester – Fireworks display at the Bicentennial Band Shell, 60 Bidwell St. The celebrations start at 7 p.m.
  • Milford’s Summer Celebration begins at 4 p.m. at Lisman’s Landing and concludes with fireworks at 9:15 p.m. (July 9th rain date)

Sunday, June 26:

  • The fireworks in Connecticut will begin at 9.15 pm at East Haven, Cosey Beach Avenue. (Rain date June 27)

Monday, June 27:

  • From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be fireworks, food trucks, and live music at the Naugatuck Event Center on Rubber Avenue. (July 2nd rain date)


Wednesday, June 29:

  • Summerfest & Fireworks in Stafford begin at 9:30 p.m. on June 29.

Thursday, June 30:

  • The fireworks in CT will be held on June 30 at Short Beach, Stratford.

Friday, July 1:

  • Fireworks will be launched from the Shelton side of the river in Derby. (July 2nd rain date)
  • Fireworks in CT will start after the 7:05 p.m. game at Hartford Yard Goats, Dunkin’ Donuts Park.
  • From 5 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., there will be a Red, White, and Blue Celebration at Owen Bell Park in Killingly.
  • Parking opens at 6 p.m. at the Litchfield High School field for the fireworks show in Litchfield. Go and enjoy these fireworks in Connecticut.
  • Fireworks in CT will start at 9:30 p.m. in New Milford (Rain date July 9)
  • At 9:30 p.m., Simsbury – Talcott Mountain Festival: Celebrate America will begin (Rain date July 2)

Saturday, July 2:

  • Fireworks in Connecticut will be held on July 2 at these places.
  • 6:05 p.m. – Hartford Yard Goats
  • At 9:30 p.m., Middletown – Connecticut River/Harbor Drive Area (Rain date July 3).

Sunday, July 3:

  • On July 3 fireworks in CT will begin at these times and the places are given below.
  • After the 6:05 p.m. game, the Hartford Yard Goats at Dunkin’ Donuts Park.
  • 9:30 p.m. Madison – West Wharf
  • 9:30 p.m., Waterbury – Brass Mill Center

Monday, July 4:

  • Fireworks show at Quassy Amusement & Waterpark in Middlebury at 9:45 p.m.
  • Willow Brook Park in New Britain at 9 p.m. (Rain date July 5)
  • At 9 p.m., the best viewing of fireworks which will be held at New Haven is from Wilbur Cross High School on East Rock.



Saturday, July 9:

  • Fireworks shows in CT will be held at Guilford Fairgrounds, Guilford at 9 p.m.
  • Sailfest at New London Harbor, show begins at 9 p.m.
  • Fireworks at Orange – 525 Rd. Orange Center and Rotary Park in Putnam at 9:15 p.m.
