Where to watch the 4th of July Fireworks in Hartford County this Long Weekend!!!

Nothing beats a hot summer evening spent watching fireworks with family and friends! We’ve prepared a list of the most popular fireworks in Hartford CT this summer, from the shore to the countryside. Please check the weather forecast before attending any Hartford CT fireworks shows. This preliminary list includes a large number of fireworks planned for the long Fourth of July weekend.



4. Simsbury:

The Hartford Symphony Orchestra is going to celebrate America at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center as part of the Talcott Mountain Music Festival. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks in Hartford CT. The rain date is set for July 2. At 7:30 p.m., the Hartford Symphony will perform, followed by fireworks. Tickets start at $27.50 for grass seats and go up to $50 for tables closer to the stage. The rain date is set for July 2.

3. Bristol:

Experience Lake Compounce’s Summer’s On Series, which includes fireworks every Saturday in July plus July 3. They begin at 9:00 p.m. Tickets cost $45 for seniors and $57 for adults.

2. New Britain:

The 30th Great American Boom features a fireworks display at Willow Brook Park at 9:15 p.m. There will be a DJ dance party as well as concessions. Parking permits are $10 per vehicle and must be obtained before the show. You can sign up for one here. The parking lots open at 7:00 p.m. The Great American Boom at Willow Brook Park in New Britain is $10 per car. The New Britain Parks and Recreation website requires pre-registration. The gates will open at 7 p.m. and close around 9 p.m., with the fireworks in Hartford CT set to begin shortly after the gates close.

Until July 1st, parking passes should be picked up in person at the New Britain Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Dept (27 West Main St., Room 302, New Britain) between 8:15 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. The rain date is set for July 5.

1. Hartford:

Dunkin’ Donuts Park, Yard Goats During their series with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the Hartford Yard Goats will have a fireworks display after each game at Dunkin’ Donuts Park from July 1 to July 3. The Yard Goats will wear red, white, and blue uniforms on July 2 and 3.
