Where to watch the 4th of July Fireworks in Fairfield County this Long Weekend!!!

Nothing beats watching fireworks with family and friends on a hot summer evening! From the coast to the countryside, we’ve compiled a list of the most popular fireworks displays in Fairfield CT this summer. Before attending any Fairfield CT fireworks displays, please check the weather forecast. The majority of the fireworks planned for the long Fourth of July weekend are included on this preliminary list.



9. Shelton:

At 9 p.m., fireworks will be displayed at Shelton Veteran’s Riverwalk Park. The “Mostly Green Band” will perform a musical concert at the Municipal Parking Garage from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Municipal Parking Garage will only be open for parking. There will be no viewing.

8. Stamford:

Cummings Beach saw fireworks briefly after 9 p.m. The rain date is set for July 2. There will be food trucks, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.

7. Greenwich:

Display of fireworks At dusk, it takes place in Greenwich Point Park and Binney Park.

Access for vehicles will be closed at 8 pm and maybe earlier if parking is full.

6. New Canaan:

The fireworks display for the Family 4th of July Celebration will begin at 9:15 p.m. on 3rd July. The rain dates are July 3rd and 9th. Parking passes will be sold only to New Canaan residents and will cost $35 per car. The festival, which begins at 5 p.m., will feature family picnicking, a bounce house, and performances by “Mind the Gap” and the Town Band.

The 41st Annual Family Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. All vehicles must enter Waveny Park via the South Avenue entrance. The entrance on Lapham Road will be closed to all traffic. Entry passes must be visible through the window and displayed on the driver’s side dashboard. Passholders should enter the park through the high school parking lot.

5. Trumbull:

At 9 p.m., there will be fireworks. As part of the Trumbull Day celebrations behind Hillcrest Middle School, The rain date is July 9. The carnival is two days long and includes rides, music, and food trucks. Ride bracelets are $30 each.

The fireworks will begin approximately 45 minutes after sunset, most likely at 9:00 PM, but there is no set time.

Sales of beer and wine end at 9:30 p.m.

With a few exceptions, food truck vendors accept credit/debit cards.

Some rides require an adult to accompany a child who is shorter than 48 inches.

Backpacks, large bags, coolers, food, and beverages are not permitted. Bags are subject to examination.

Pets are not permitted (except service animals).

No smoking is permitted.

To watch the fireworks, bring folding chairs and/or blankets.

4. Norwalk:

Bayley Beach will have fireworks at 9 p.m. Non-residents must pay to enter Bayley Beach; the fee for the day of fireworks is $100. Weekends and holidays cost $30 per car, and special events cost $50 per car. The cost for walk-ins is $10 per person or $25 per family.

3. Weston:

Weston Middle School Field will light up with fireworks at 9:20 p.m. There will be food trucks, community band performances, and other activities as part of the Weston’s Family 4th Celebration.

2. Wilton:

Dusk fireworks at the Wilton High School Complex, 395 Danbury Road.

The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Wilton is delighted to declare the return of traditional July 4th celebration events. The Freedom Run 5K Road Race and Fireworks Show will both take place on July 4th at the Wilton High School (WHS) Complex, 395 Danbury Road. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. Fireworks display festivities begin at 5:00 p.m., with fireworks beginning at dusk, or approximately 9:00 p.m.
