Fire in Bristol CT : Crystal Diner in Bristol CT destroyed by Fire!!!
Five businesses in a strip mall in Bristol CT, including the popular diner Crystal Diner in Bristol CT, were destroyed by an early morning fire on 24th Feb. The fire in Bristol CT on Main Street started around 2 a.m on 24th. The businesses on 43 Main St Bristol CT which included Vivaldi Pizza, Marty’s Package Store, Main Street Laundromat, and the Dance Experience were also heavily damaged when flames ripped through the building. Fire officials said the flames were so intense, part of the roof of the plaza caved in.
The owner of Crystal Diner in Bristol CT was absolutely heartbroken by this development. But he indicated that he insists to rebuild this. It was not the popular diner that was impacted in addition there was a package store, a laundromat and a dance studio which are all damaged.
“I think a lot of people will feel the pain and loss of this building just like I do,” said Mayor Caggiano.
Crystal Diner Bristol CT at 43 Main St, Bristol, CT is known for it’s amazing cuisine and is very popular among people in Bristol. Fire in Bristol CT would be a great loss to this popular diner but they are committed to bring back the diner to the people of Bristol.
As per the Mayor, the town plans to help these businesses get back on their feet.
“There’s a ripple effect of people that will be affected in town, not only is it tough on the owners but also the workers and just the town as a whole.” said Mayor Caggiano.
One viewer sent me this video of the Bristol fire this morning, just look at that smoke and those flames billowing out of the building. Crews say the major flames were put out in around an hour. More details tonight on @FOX61News
